Ozark Church Child Sex Cult

(Washburn, Missouri) The details of a horrific church child molestation cult in a compound in the rugged Ozark Mountains of southwest Missouri continue to be exposed. Thus far, five people have been accused of molesting five girls and more bookings are expected.

At the center of the scandal is the Grandview Valley Baptist Church North, headed by 63-year-old Pastor George Otis Johnston, which is affiliated with the Grand Valley Independent Baptist Church, headed by Johnston's nephew, Reverend Raymond Lambert, 51. Both Johnston and Lambert were booked on molestation charges along with Lambert's wife, 49-year-old Patty Lambert, and her brothers Paul Epling and Tom Epling, both in their 50s.

Reportedly, the molestation started as far back as the 1970s and included victims as young as four years of age. The alleged circle of depravity was exposed when a group of eight people escaped the compound and walked miles down a gravel road to find a phone and alert the police.
