Accused Meth Teacher Pleads Not Guilty

(Grand Junction, Colorado) Since October 2005, former first-grade teacher at Lincoln-Orchard Mesa Elementary School, Tammie Lee Reed, has been arrested twice for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

And, for some reason, Tammie Lee Reed legally changed her name since her arrest to Tammie Liberty Lee.

Interestingly, Lee's story to date reads like an episode of the Cops television program with methamphetamine addiction being the lead actor and an elementary school teacher playing a strong supporting role.

In the latest development Monday in Mesa County Court, 42-year-old Lee entered pleas of not guilty to all charges filed against her and, beginning March 27, Lee faces four separate trials on eleven total criminal counts.
