Nebraska Going to the Big Ten?

Big buzz about the possibility of the University of Nebraska becoming a Big Ten school. No decision yet but a big meeting is scheduled for Friday where the Nebraska Board of Regents could opt to leave the Big 12.

Last year, Big Ten officials announced a desire to expand by adding one additional school. Since, the University of Missouri and Iowa State University have been mentioned as possibilities. Nebraska is a new name tossed in to the mix.

In any event, those officials in positions to know what's going on aren't talking.

[Add.] By the way, other names mentioned include Notre Dame, Maryland , Rutgers and Syracuse. It's anyone's guess right now. Rumors fly.
