California Woman Accused of Killing Daughter

(Paso Robles, California) After an extensive investigation, a 42-year-old local mom, Erin Christine Martin, has been accused of killing her infant daughter.

Martin called 911 on June 16 saying her 3 and 1⁄2-month-old child wasn’t breathing.

After hospitalization at Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton and Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, the baby was pronounced dead June 18.

Officials determined Martin’s blood-alcohol level was 0.23 percent the night of the incident from a specimen obtained the same night.

Martin is charged with murder.
