Ohio Teacher Guilty in Sex Case - Update

(Youngstown, Ohio) Former teacher at Warren G. Harding High School, Amanda Basile, 32, has pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition of a student.

Sentencing is scheduled for September 23.

(Youngstown, Ohio) A 31-year-old former teacher at Warren Harding High School, Amanda Basile, has been indicted for sexual battery for allegedly engaging in sex with an 18-year-old student.

Ohio law says it is illegal for a teacher to engage in sex with any student, even if that student is 18.

Basile resigned her teaching position.
