Hoosier Woman Pinched for Drugs

(Syracuse, Indiana) A 44-year-old Elkhart woman, Carol Ann Garcia, has been accused of dealing drugs near a school.

Garcia has been charged with dealing a Schedule III controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
Police made an undercover purchase of numerous prescription pills from Garcia in the parking lot of Syracuse business which was across the street from a preschool.

Once the purchase was complete, police stopped the suspect and arrested her without incident.
Garcia was booked into custody at the Kosciusko County Jail with bond set at $20,000.
