Virginia Woman Accused of Armed Robbery

(Christiansburg, Virginia) A 28-year-old local woman, Tabitha Renee Scott, has been accused of robbery from local restaurants. She claimed she had a bomb.

Scott faces charges of grand larceny, armed robbery and threatening to bomb.
Tabitha Renee Scott is alleged to have robbed the Christiansburg Little Caesar’s on North Franklin Street around 7:40 p.m. Dec. 6, a couple hours after allegedly stealing a purse from another Christiansburg restaurant.

Becky Wilburn, public relations officer for town of Christiansburg, said Scott is suspected of stealing a purse from Farm House Restaurant on Ridinger Street, then entering the pizza restaurant around 10 p.m., claiming to have a bomb.
Scott was booked into custody at the Western Virginia Regional Jail.
