EIGHT CORPSES DECOMPOSE, DIRECTOR GETS 60 DAYS

(Toledo, OH) Henry Hardin, director of the Sherrill Harden Funeral Home, was convicted in Lucas County Common Pleas Court of eight counts of abuse of corpse and one count of theft. The corpses were found in the funeral home in various states of decomposition and dated back to 1996, except for one which is mummified and remains unidentified.

Yesterday, while family members of the deceased dabbed tears from their eyes, Judge James Jensen sentenced Hardin to 60 days in jail.

Is it only me that thinks the punishment is somewhat too lenient?
