National Health Care
People who propose that the United States implement a socialized health care system are guilty of ignoring the poor success achieved by other countries. For instance, if Bill Clinton was relying on the Canadian Health Care system to repair his heart, his bypass surgery would have occurred only after a wait of almost six weeks. As it is, the U.S. health care system diagnosed his condition, performed necessary surgery, and had him in recovery in a few days. Disregarding the fact that Britain and New Zealand have even worse records than Canada, Canadians themselves don't trust their health care system and travel to the U.S. for treatment, if they can afford it.
So, if Hillary Care had been passed, one likely result would have been to increase the risk of a hubby heart attack while he waited about six weeks to be treated. Ergo, when a rejuvenated Bill Clinton returns home, maybe mommy will get a spanking. (via Country Store)
