Teacher Arrested for Boffing Student

(Garland, Texas) A 23-year-old, first-year teacher at South Garland High School, Lindsey Holt, was arrested by Garland police last Tuesday for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a student.

While patrolling a park, Garland Police caught Holt and a 17-year-old student in a compromising position. Holt was apprehended and taken to the Garland Detention Center where she was charged with having an improper relationship between an educator and student, a second-degree felony. The charge carries a punishment of up to 20 years in prison and a fine as much as $10,000. After paying $5,000 bond, Holt was released.

Garland School District officials put Holt on administrative leave after her arrest last Tuesday. On Monday (11/28), Holt resigned from her teaching position with the school system.
