(Kandahar, Afghanistan) On Saturday, a 20-something Taliban attacker snuck up on Canadian officer, Capt. Trevor Greene, during a tribal community meeting and struck him on the head with an axe. Canadian soldiers quickly gunned down the scum barbarian. The attack is believed to have been a preplanned ambush known by the village elders since children left the area just prior to the incident. Capt. Greene was left with a major head injury and was quickly evacuated to the American military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany.
Capt. Greene was promoted from lieutenant to captain while at the hospital and is currently reported to be in serious but stable condition.
