Educator Accused of Sex with Student

(Wellington, Kansas) A 34-year-old educator at Wellington High School, DeAnna M. Abasolo-Farley, was arrested by Wellington Police yesterday for allegedly engaging in sex with a student.

It's reported that the school district alerted police in early January of an inappropriate relationship between a student and a staffer and an investigation was launched. Abasolo-Farley resigned in mid-January.

Abasolo-Farley was booked into the Sumner County Jail on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and unlawful sexual relations between a teacher and student, age 16 or 17.
