Weaponized Grits

(Jacksonville, Florida) A woman who has been wanted for a year, Velinda Taylor, was recently arrested by Jacksonville Police to face charges that she assaulted her sister, Sharon Ashley, by burning her with a boiling pot of grits.

According to investigators, Velinda Taylor threw the grits on her sister while they were having an argument. They said the victim blocked her face but the grits burned her back.

Taylor is also accused in a stabbing. She was booked into custody at the Duval County Jail with bond set at $60,000.
