Sheriff: Adult Nudist Hosted Parties for Boys

(Daytona Beach, Florida) A 65-year-old nudist and radio station owner, Doug Wilhite, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a boy over the age of 12 and under 18. Wilhite has been charged with sexual battery.

Sheriff's investigators said Wilhite is a nudist who hosted parties at his Ormond Beach area home with teenage boys. Investigators said Wilhite encouraged them to have sex with each other, and that Wilhite had sex with the victim more than 12 times this year.

Investigators said Wilhite also offered the minors alcohol and video equipment for documenting themselves having sex.

Wilhite denies the accusations. Radio host Big John, Wilhite's employee, proclaimed confidence that his boss would be found innocent. Nevertheless, Wilhite was booked into custody at the Volusia County Jail with bond set at $100,000.

On a personal note, I was cautioned as a youngster to be very suspicious of adult men who prefer to spend their leisure time with children. Not an indictment, just saying....
