Meth Lab in Backpack

(Pisgah, Alabama) A 24-year-old Georgia woman, Jennifer Lawson, has been arrested by Jackson County deputies for allegedly possessing and carrying a methamphetamine lab in her backpack.

Lawson has been charged with manufacture of methamphetamine and probation violation.

Authorities said when they tried to stop her on a road in Pisgah, she dropped her backpack and attempted to flee.

After she was caught, authorities then discovered the meth lab she was carrying in the backpack.

She was booked into custody. A bail amount wasn't reported.
