Oklahoma Teacher Faces Drug Charges

(Logan County, Oklahoma) An educator with the Coyle Schools Head Start program, Jessica Renaker, and her husband Jesse have been accused of child neglect and drug possession.

They were arrested after their 11-month-old girl arrived at Head Start on February 2 with a marijuana pipe stuck in her diaper.

The Renakers face charges of child neglect, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies went to the home of Jesse and Jessica Renaker to follow up on the complaint and check on the child's welfare.[…]

When deputies arrived, they found more than an ounce of marijuana and a handgun in the Renakers' home.

The Renakers' children are in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS).
