Maryland Woman Faces Drug, Gun Charges

(St. Mary's County, Maryland) A 26-year-old local woman, Ashley Nicole Hyde, has been arrested on several drug and gun charges.

Hyde faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute methadone and morphine as well as possession of a firearm while trafficking narcotics.

According to the police report:

Detectives observed the suspect in the Leonardtown area and with assistance from a Patrol Deputy, Suspect Hyde was arrested.

Search incident to the arrest revealed 172 Methadone 10mg pills (street value $1,720.00), 9 suspected Oxycodone 30mg pills (street value $270.00) and 10 suspected Oxycodone 30mg pills ($300.00).

A prescription bottle for 180 Oxycodone 30mg pills in Suspect Hyde’s name was also located.

Hyde was booked into custody without bond.
