Kentucky Teacher Faces Drug Charges

(Floyd County, Kentucky) Last week, a 37-year-old special education teacher at South Floyd Middle School, Michelle Hall, was arrested for allegedly being intoxicated in public.

After getting the attention of customers in the Prestonsburg Pizza Hut with her unusual behavior about noon Friday, 37-year-old Hall failed a field sobriety test.[…]

Police say after Hall was hauled off to the Floyd County Detention Center, she was searched, and more pills were found hidden in her clothing.[…]

Hall is charged with two counts of first degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and first degree promoting contraband.

Hall was released on bond.
