Carolina High School Student Arrested for Dinosaur Story

(Summerville, South Carolina) A 16-year-old student at Summerville High School, Alex Stone, has been arrested and suspended from school for writing a story about killing his neighbor's pet dinosaur.
"I could understand if they made him rewrite it because he did have 'gun' in it," said mother Karen Gray. "I mean first of all we don't have dinosaurs anymore. Second of all, he's not even old enough to buy a gun."
Stone was charged with disorderly conduct. Afterward, Stone said he would rather be home-schooled.
