CEDAR POINT ELIMINATES SENIOR DISCOUNTS

Bad news for the coaster grannies! The world's largest amusement park, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, is no longer providing discounts to senior citizens for season and daily passes. The discount allowed seniors 60 and over to save $14 on the $99 season passes and the $44 daily admission. Five other amusement and five water parks across the country owned by the same company will follow suit.

Discussions with the company indicate that they don't think that offering discounts sufficiently increases senior citizen traffic. Therefore, they have decided to fleece those that do attend. Honoring previous generations of Americans for their contributions to society, while recognizing that their livelihood is provided through fixed retirement incomes, have been excluded from Cedar Point's corporate decision-making process.

My personal take is that Cedar Point is exhibiting a shitty heartless and un-American corporate profile.
