Kucinich Campaigns, Nader Waits

My local Ohio readers may be interested in the recent campaign activities and news of Congressman Kucinich. From the Cleveland Plain Dealer comes this paragraph.
Kucinich's political campaign is willing to accept money-raising help from country rocker Willie Nelson, but is taking a pass on his sloganeering assistance. According to Rolling Stone magazine, Nelson suggested that Kucinich adopt the motto "Kucinich: His middle name is sin." The campaign instead will rely on less controversial standbys like "Light Up America," said [Kucinich spokesman] Swanson.
On a different subject, Ralph Nader has been telling Democrat voters to support Kucinich, but he hasn't been telling his Green Party voters to support him. It appears that Nader is just waiting on the sidelines, ready to jump into the presidential race if he sees an opening. And, all the while, Kucinich dangles like a marionette, not knowing if the Greenies will be behind him. Nader says he won't decide to run until next year sometime, after he gets an assessment from his exploratory committee.

I wonder if the people of Cleveland realize that the guy they elected to Congress is, by any substantive measure, interchangeable with Ralph Nader, the guru of West Coast leftist political extremism.

Probably not.
