Gephardt Campaigns for Kerry

(Akron, Ohio) At a downtown restaurant, Dick Gephardt deposited a couple nuggets to Democratic party faithful at a campaign rally for John Kerry. Attacking President Bush,
"This (president) is by far the worst, . . ."

"I'm nostalgic for Ronald Reagan. That's how bad it is."
The crowd laughed loudly.

Somehow I can't see the majority of Americans supporting the contention that the country would be better off if Al Gore were president. And, I have trouble even contemplating what would have occurred had Jimmy Carter beaten Ronald Reagan in 1980.

It appears that if Gephardt actually believes President Bush is the worst, he's either delusional or has an extremely poor memory. Either way, those attending the rally have the same problem.
