(Orchards, Washington) Here's a bonehead report by John Branton from The Columbian. While drunk, Robert A. Gulley stopped by Washington State Patrol headquarters in Orchards to apply for a job as a trooper.
"I guarantee he's not going to get a job with us," Trooper Garvin March said after Gulley was stopped while driving away from the patrol office and ticketed for alleged drunken driving. "We've arrested drunks in unexpected ways and places before, but this one just blew me away," said March, a 26-year veteran.Doofus!
