World's Oldest Mouse

According to lifespan researchers at the University of Michigan Medical School, a dwarf mouse has lived the equivalent of 136 human years. It was accomplished through genetic engineering by specific modification of the pituitary and thyroid glands and reduced insulin production.

Hopefully, the research will lead to something other than old mice.
