Mr. Magic the Clown

(Toronto, Ontario) This is interesting and most disturbing. About two weeks ago, it was reported that Spanky the Clown had been arrested on multiple child pornography charges and, now, Mr. Magic the Clown, AKA Stephen Lynn, 43, has been found guilty of sexually assaulting five boys between the ages of nine and 13. Unfortunately, even though Mr. Magic has a long history sexually assaulting young boys, he was only given one year in prison.

My take is twofold. First, by sentencing Stephen Lynn to only one year in jail, Provincial Court Justice Roland Harris has guaranteed that additional children will be molested in the very near future. Unless he gets shanked in the slammer, Mr. Magic will be out trolling for new victims in a year because pedophilia is incurable.

Secondly, the cases of Mr. Magic and Spanky appear to provide strong evidence that pedophiles frequently gravitate toward being clowns to attract victims. It's something for parents and law enforcement officers to keep in mind.
