The Associated Press Lie
When President Bush announced during a campaign stop that Bill Clinton was being hospitalized for a heart problem, the Associated Press reported that the crowd booed loudly and the President did nothing to stop them. Audio and video evidence shows that there was no booing. The AP lied. After being called on the falsity, the news service removed reference to booing from its report but failed to offer an apology nor an explanation. The story was picked up throughout the world and there's been no effort to set the entire record straight. This is not an example of bias, it's an example of fraud. Somebody should be fired!
For follow up on this story, watch Spoons. He's covering it closely.
