Bali Bomber Seen Out "Having Coffee"

(Jakarta, Indonesia) Having been sentenced to life in prison for his part in killing more than 200 people in the Bali nightclub bombing, Ali Imron surprised everyone by being spotted out sauntering through a shopping mall and enjoying a cup of coffee at Starbucks. He was accompanied by the Director of Indonesian Narcotics and Drugs Gorries Mere. A police spokesman said he didn't know why Imron was out of prison.

The sheer audacity of this incident would seem to indicate a serious level of corruption in the Indonesian police. (via MyPetJawa)
