Muslim Woman Sues For Being Forced to Remove Scarf

(Cleveland, Ohio) Aisha Samad claims her freedom of religion was infringed upon by county and sheriff's department authorities two years ago when she was told to remove her scarf. Consequently, she is suing for $125,000.

A month after the incident, the director of the county corrections center issued a written apology. He says the sheriff also has instituted a policy that says Muslim inmates may cover their heads, and that the jail keeps extra scarves on hand for them to use.

How nice. Can we assume that the jail will keep extra rosary beads for Catholics, extra yarmulkes for Jews, and extra sacrificial chickens for those that worship Santaria?

Probably not since, in this day and age, only Muslims are entitled to extra equality.
