Man Tries To Run Over Katherine Harris

Check out this story from Sarasota, Florida,
A motorist who told police he was exercising his "political expression" was jailed Wednesday on an aggravated assault charge alleging he tried to run down U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris and a group of re-election campaign supporters. No one was injured.
It should say 'fortunately, no one was injured' because the potential was great. The clueless Democrat driver, Barry M. Seltzer, 46, was charged with first-degree felony assault with a deadly weapon and is being held in the Sarasota County jail without bond. If convicted, he faces a potential 30-year prison term.

This incident demonstrates how emotions, overheated by politics, can easily prompt irresponsible, even criminal, behavior. It happens way too often.
