Colin Powell Safe After Gunfight

Breaking news from Agence France-Presse:
U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell and his delegation were unhurt in an intense gunfight that erupted outside Haiti's presidential palace today while they were in a meeting with Haitian leaders there.

However, they have decided to relocate other scheduled talks, a senior U.S. State Department official said.

"Palace guards exchanged fire with unknown gunmen outside the perimeter," the official said, citing initial reports on the incident from Mr. Powell's security detail on the ground in Port-au-Prince.

"The secretary and the party are safe but the meetings that are going on are being relocated to another site," the official told AFP on condition of anonymity.
Apparently, this is an instance of unknown gunmen fighting for an unknown reason and, although it's not mentioned in this article, you can bet your beanie babies that the U.S. will be blamed for something.
