Chirac Proposes 'Experimental' International Tax

(Davos, Switzerland) For consideration at the World Economic Forum, French President Jacques Chirac proposed an experimental international tax on airline tickets, some fuels, and all international banking transactions. It appears to be a harbinger of the coming socialist agenda for redistribution. Evidently, once a country's population has been taxed to a declining standard of living, it's time to try cross-border theft.

Fortunately, although the World Economic Forum is largely leftist, Chirac's idea was rejected. One spokesman even called the proposal "bizarre." In keeping with the theme, I'd like to propose that Chirac's doctors carefully consider the French President's proclivity for the bizarre and experimental when subjecting him to medical treatment.
