Appeals Court Denies Freedom of Expression Case

(La Habra, California) The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declined to reconsider a decision that upheld a law requiring that dancers stay at least two feet away from customers. The law had been challenged by Badi "Bill" Gammoh, owner of several strip clubs, as vague and an infringement on freedom of expression. In simple terms, the court indicated that there is no constitutional right to a lap dance.
