Illinois Woman Broadcasts Child Porn via Webcam

PEORIA - A 21-year-old Woodford County woman is in federal custody on charges she fondled an infant in a broadcast to an Internet chat room.

Taylor A. March of Minonk was arrested Monday and is accused of fondling a boy younger than 24 months she was baby-sitting at her home and showing the act to members of a chat room. One of the people logged on to the Yahoo Messenger Service chat room, Preeteen [sic] Sex on Camera, was an FBI agent in the Central Illinois Cybercrime Unit, according to court documents filed by prosecutors.

The woman faces federal charges because prosecutors say the images were broadcast over the Internet, and it is a federal crime to produce a depiction of sexual conduct involving minors while knowing the depiction likely will be distributed in interstate commerce.

March talked with members of the chat room about having sex with and committing sex acts with children, court documents say.

Apparently an FBI agent was able to capture a copy of the video where March actually manipulated the boy's genitals with one hand while adjusting the camera with her other hand. Since March cared for several children, authorities are investigating the possibility of other victims

March is charged in federal court with one count of production of child pornography and, if convicted, faces a possible 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. She remains in custody pending a hearing later this week.
