Margaret Hassan's Murderers Arrested

Last November, I was deeply saddened by the news of Margaret Hassan's cold-blooded execution by terrorists. She was a charitable woman who worked for CARE International and a threat to no one. Nonetheless, she was ruthlessly murdered.

Yesterday, according to this report, five people that were detained during raids by U.S. Forces have admitted complicity in Hassan's murder. Authorities say that clothing and documents belonging to Margaret Hassan were found.

This breakthrough in the investigation of Hassan's death is welcome news. Hopefully, those responsible will be tried, convicted, and sentenced to the ultimate punishment. In my opinion, it's impossible to punish the killers of Margaret Hassan in a cruel or unusual way.
