Live blogging (noon EDT) of clash at Kfar Darom, one of the most religious of 21 settlements.
- Troops clashing w/protesters on roof of synagogue (est. 300 at start),Newscasters report that those apprehended will be prosecuted for violently fighting the police, security forces, soldiers, and SWAT teams. The non-violent protest became violent, resulting in five injured soldiers and two injured protesters.
- Sand, paint, and diesel oil thrown on troops, soldiers spraying soap on protesters,
- IDF not armed but outnumber protesters 30 to 40 to one,
- SWAT teams carrying out settlers one by one,
- Soldiers trying to breech barbed wire encircling synagogue,
- Security forces trying to clear roof before nightfall (1300 EDT),
- Cranes being used to put IDF troops inside large containers onto synagogue roof,
