Odd Sibling Cities

The mayors of San Francisco, California, and Bethlehem, Israel, are in discussions to become sister cities. Obviously, any relationship would be symbolic as opposed to evolutionary since it would be difficult to find any similarity between the birthplace of Jesus Christ and, arguably, the most non-religious city in America.
