Woman Gets No Jail for Sex Abuse of Boy
(Wheaton, Illinois) In September 2004, 39-year-old Felissia M. Hoskin was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse for engaging in a months-long sexual relationship with a 15-year-old boy. The charge carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.
This past week, Hoskin was sentenced to two years supervision. It's not clear exactly what that means but I presume it to be simple probation. Hoskin must also register as a sex offender.
Hoskin's sentence is consistent with previously reported cases on this blog. Very little or no jail time is routine for convicted female child sex abusers.
