Zawahiri Adds Bluster to Democrats' Message

As a followup to recent statements by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and DNC Chairman Howard Dean, al-Qaeda head Ayman al-Zawahiri has reinforced the Democrat political message by broadcasting it in Arabic via Aljazeera television. It's not clear who originally wrote the script of dreams for America's defeat in Iraq but, since the Democrats speak loudest and the most often, I'll give them credit.

From the BBC:
"I congratulate the Muslims on Islam's victory in Iraq. I said more than a year ago that the Americans' departure from Iraq is only a matter of time," he says.

"Bush, you must admit that you have been defeated in Iraq and that you are being defeated in Afghanistan and that you will soon be defeated in Palestine, with the help and strength of God," he also says.
The media are making bigger news of Zawahiri's statements than they are actually worth. The content of his words is indistinguishable from Democratic Party harangues. If anyone is really interested in today's message from Zawahiri, search the web for recent speeches by Dean, Reid, Pelosi, Durbin, Murtha, Kerry, and a host of other Democrats. They're all on the same scow, hoisting the same flag, day in and day out.

For detailed analysis of the Zawahiri spew, Chad Evans takes a close look.
