Almost 100,000 Missing Norwegian Passports

(Oslo, Norway) This story has trouble written between every line.

From Aftenposten.no:
The number of missing Norwegian passports is approaching 100,000 and the National Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) fears that most of these are in criminal hands.

Norwegian authorities warn cooperation partners each time a passport goes astray. There are currently a record 95,000 missing passports in the computer register . . . .
According to Captain Hans-Peder Torgersen at the international division of the NCIS, "Missing passports create problems for fighting terrorism and human trafficking. For people involved with these types of crime a Norwegian passport can be extremely valuable."

I should say so. Norwegian citizens can travel without visas in many countries. I have to wonder how many Islamists are carrying Norwegian passports.
