(Oakland, California) Early last Saturday, not far from the liquor store the robber was found dead.
From ContraCostaTimes:
Police officers found the body of Sharffeequa Williams, 24, about 1:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of 12th Street after he apparently bled to death from a wound to his femoral artery. There's surveillance video of Sharffeequa shooting himself. Hopefully, it will make the news. I'd like to see it.
During the hold-up of Appian Liquors, Williams initially placed the handgun on the counter so he could grab cash from the register, Oakland police detective Sgt. Phil Green said.
But as Williams placed the gun back into his waistband, he squeezed the trigger and shot himself, Green said.
Certainly, Sharffeequa's family and friends are saddened by his death. In all candor, I'm not.
