The Government wants to set up a single system in Whitehall that would allow information on every citizen in the country to be shared by departments.

The scheme, endorsed by Tony Blair, is aimed at improving the efficiency of public services. It would mean individuals would only have to give their details once rather than repeat them to dozens of agencies.

Arguably, the UK is already the global center for political correctness (Orwellian "newspeak"), therefore, it's a logical place for Big Brother to materialize first. Sure, it's intrusive beyond normal reason but think how much easier life will be for the state police and these are not reasonable times.

Coming soon, they'll want to implant tiny GPS devices under the skin of all inhabitants to monitor exact locations and activities. Mind control will follow, achieved through brain-washing from cradle to grave. Then, of course, they'll legislate a defined lifetime for all non-elite citizens with an exit strategy. And the world will finally be ruled by a higher power -- the British Labor Party!! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha.....!
