Murdered for Picky Eating

(Shanghai, China) An old woman broke her femur in an accident involving a neighbor girl's bicycle in January of last year. To save money, the neighbor agreed to care for the woman during her recovery period. Unfortunately, the old woman was an intolerably picky eater.

A Shanghai woman killed an elderly woman who was living in her home because she was "too picky about the food she was served and was very bad-tempered."

The woman, surnamed Huang, surrendered herself and admitted to killing the woman to police in Chongming County on the same day she committed the crime last May, Youth Daily reported today.

Huang told the court that she lost all patience and couldn't bear the old woman any longer.

I don't suppose it dawned on Huang that many senior citizens have very sensitive digestive systems. There is also the possibility that Huang is a poor cook and her food was terrible.

Some of my acquaintances are picky eaters but I've never thought about killing them. Well, uh, not before today, that is.
