(Atlanta, Georgia) Seventeen-year-old Joshua Moulder and 19-year-old Justin Moulder pleaded guilty last month to a ten-count criminal indictment which included burglary, terrorist threats, cruelty to children and animal cruelty. Most notable was their conviction on charges of torturing and killing a puppy by cooking it in an oven after duct-taping its paws and snout.
Yesterday, the Moulder brothers were each sentenced to ten years in prison. It's reported that they could have been sentenced to 90 years in prison.

(Tampa, Florida) In a somewhat related case, a 25-year-old Lakeland man, Benjamin Boatwright, pleaded guilty to killing four of his puppies while high on drugs. He was sentenced to two and one-half years in prison.
Consequently, if you have a choice in the location to kill your puppy, either Georgia or Florida, opt for the Sunshine State.
