Karl Rove Irks PETA

During the Washington Correspondents' dinner last week, Karl Rove jokingly mentioned that he liked to rip the heads off critters. In response, PETA's chief veghead, Ingrid Newkirk, wrote Rove a letter at the White House accusing him of "severe compassion deficit."

Obviously, Newkirk lacks a sense of humor.
