Fugitive Illegal Alien Elvira Arellano Arrested

Finally!

As a reminder, illegal alien Elvira Arellano and her son have spent more than a year hiding -- er, receiving sanctuary -- in a church to avoid deportation. Until now, authorities have been spineless.

Meanwhile, Arellano has become an icon for do-gooders, open-borders advocates and alien lawbreakers. Her media-trumpeted torment will likely be developed into several heart-wrenching screen stories.

Probably the most fictionalized part of any future screen production will be Arellano's arrest yesterday afternoon. Federal agents grabbed her in a car as she was trying to get to another church in Los Angeles. I expect the screen version to include Arellano being horribly beaten and tasered while a SWAT team member rips her crying son from her limp arms.
