Florida Mom Accused of Child Neglect

(Ft. Myers, Florida) A 25-year-old Ft. Myers mother, Jacqueline Addison, has been arrested for leaving her children, aged 2 and 6, home alone in a bathtub. Addison apparently left the children and went to a restaurant near her apartment complex.

Addison has been charged with third-degree felony child neglect.

Addison was gone for about half an hour, by which time neighbors had found the girls, ages 2 and 6, walking through a parking lot, looking for her.

Reportedly, the children are with their father who lives in the same apartment complex.

Addison was booked into custody at the Lee County Jail.
