Foreigner Arrested for Stalking

(Gilroy, California) A 26-year-old foreign national, David Gonzalez-Raygoza, was arrested by Gilroy police after a 16-year-old girl reported that he was following her and trying to get her into his truck.
While officers were on the scene taking the victim's statement, Gonzalez-Raygoza drove into a nearby gas station.

The victim saw this and pointed the truck out to the officers.

Gonzalez-Raygoza was arrested without incident, police said.

Gonzalez-Raygoza has possibly been linked to one other "stalking" incident that occurred on Wednesday Nov. 7, police said.

During that incident, Gonzalez-Raygoza might have followed a 10-year-old female in the area of Glenview School, police said.
Gonzalez-Raygoza is in custody for attempted kidnapping, annoying or molesting a child and driving without a license. He is also in custody with an immigration hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

By the way, of the several reports about Gonzalez-Raygoza coming out of California, none that I've seen use the word "illegal" in describing him. It appears that the California media have banned the use of the term with regard to illegal aliens or foreigners who overstay their visas.
