Idaho Woman Accused of Sex with Boy, 14

(Coeur D'Alene, Idaho) A 28-year-old woman, Alanna Hair-Martin, was arrested in Tacoma for allegedly engaging in sex with a 14-year-old runaway boy.

Police were able to track down Alanna with a phone number her victim, 14-year-old Dylan Messer, left with a friend. Dylan was also in Tacoma with her, but ran away when police arrested her and hasn't been seen or heard from in three days.

"I'm very worried about my son," Judy Hatfield, Dylan's mother, said.

The pair allegedly had sex and last week fled west of the mountains to Tacoma.

"He obviously went with her because he wanted to however he's a minor, she's 28, and it's still taking a minor out of state to avoid prosecution," Bill Hatfield said.

Bill added that Dylan has run away before but never this long and never far from home while Judy says her son may not be calling because he too will face criminal charges when he gets home. He's on probation and leaving town violates his parole agreement.

"We just want him to know ... that whatever it is we'll go through it with him. Come home, I'll go to bat for him, and we'll help him through this," Bill said.

Alanna Hair-Martin has a record in Kootenai County with two pending cases in the courts, one for driving with out privileges and another for injury to a child. She made her first appearance in this case in Pierce County Monday.

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is seeking help from the public in finding Dylan.
