Purse-Snatcher Gets Finger in Drive-By

(Lawrenceville, Georgia) A 21-year-old suspected dirtbag, Caesare R. Pinkins, was arrested last Wednesday for allegedly doing a drive-by purse-snatching which ripped a lady's finger clean off.
Police said that on Wednesday afternoon, the woman was in the parking lot of a Kroger's grocery store in Lilburn, Ga. Lilburn is about 25 miles northeast of Atlanta.

Police said Pinkins drove past up to the woman, grabbed the purse, and stepped on the gas.

Gwinnett police Cpl. Illana Spellman said, "As the suspect drove away, one of the victim's fingers was pulled off."

Doctors were unable to reattach the woman's finger.
Pinkins faces multiple counts of robbery and aggravated battery. He also faces charges from a previous purse-snatching.
