Botched Bank Robbery

(Hardeeville, South Carolina) Here's the presumed transcript of the South Carolina Bank & Trust drive-thru intercom.
TELLER: [crackle-hiss] "Good morning! Welcome to the Bank & Trust. How may I help you?

BARBARA JOYNER: [crackle-hiss] "Uh -- This is a stickup. Give me all your money!"

TELLER: [crackle-hiss] "Ma'am, you do realize that you are outside the bank?"

JOYNER: [crackle-hiss] "This is a robbery, dammit!"

TELLER: [crackle-hiss] "And you have no weapon and you're being caught on camera? Are you sure you want to do this?"

JOYNER: [crackle-hiss] "Quit stalling. Give me all your money."

TELLER: [crackle-hiss] "One moment, please."
Police arrived and Barbara Joyner, 59, was arrested. She faces charges of attempted bank robbery. For the sake of full disclosure, Joyner reportedly used a note.

Drive-through bank robberies are rare. Only 78 of 7,272 bank robberies (1.07 %) in 2006 occurred from the drive-through or walk-through.
